San Pedro, California

Thai kitchen and sushi bar, one room on 25th

Curries and noodles from the wok, nigiri and rolls from the cold side, and a menu long enough that the regulars still find something new.

The room

Two kitchens, one ticket

The wok and the sushi bar run side by side, which is why a table can order a green curry and a sashimi plate and have them land together. It also means the menu is long — thirty-odd courses — and that is on purpose.

Everything is cooked to order. Tell us how hot you want it and we will make it that way, including hotter than the menu suggests.

If it is your first time

Three plates worth knowing

Not the whole menu. Just the three the kitchen would put in front of you if you asked.

A seafood curry served in a brass pot.

Curries from the pot

Green, red, panang and yellow, simmered to order and brought to the table in the pot.

Drunken noodles with chicken, chilli and basil.

Off the wok

Pad Thai, drunken noodles, pad see ew — the noodle end of the menu, cooked hot and fast.

A sushi plate with pickled ginger and shredded daikon.

From the cold side

Nigiri, sashimi and rolls cut behind the bar, including a long list of specials.
